This type of pump is a spool valve type oil seal mechanical vacuum pump, used to remove the dry gas in the sealed container. If a gas ballast device is used, a small amount of condensable gas can also be removed. It can be used alone or for the foreline pump of other high vacuum pumps. However, it is not suitable for gases with too high oxygen content, corrosive to ferrous metals, and chemically reacting with vacuum oil, nor for pumping gas from one container to another as a transfer pump. When the gas containing water or a large amount of dust is pumped, a dust removal device should be added.
It is suitable for vacuum smelting, vacuum processing, vacuum drying, vacuum coating, vacuum impregnation, aerospace, electrical and other vacuum operations.
